How do I book my appointment?

You may book your appointment online. Above are the services currently offered, select your day/time, pay the retainer, and then you are all set. If you do not see a time slot available may mean it has been booked already. You can still inquire directly with Ashley if necessary at 832-301-8700.

Do you travel?

Yes, we are currently traveling. If there is a city/state-wide mandated shut down due to the ongoing pandemic, all services will be suspended until further notice.

Where are you located?

Do you offer hair services?

No. We do not offer hair services.

How long is the appointment?

Your appointment will last up to 60 minutes. If have a particular eye look that requires more time, please contact me prior to booking.

Can I bring my makeup to the appointment?

No, we prefer to work with our products as we know how the product will work on our clients. All products work on all skin types and skin tones.

What makeup brands do you use?

I use a wide variety of brands in my professional kit to offer the best quality service. Currently, I use brands such as NARS, Danessa Myricks Beauty, MAC, Morphe, Black Opal, Makeup Forever, Dermablend, and Urban Decay just to name a few companies.

Do you offer airbrush services?

No, we do not offer airbrushing services.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Yes you may bring ONE person to your appointment; if there is more than one person accompanying you please notify Ashley immediately. Also, those who come with you will not be allowed to hover near the work area nor touch any of the makeup artist products. No children are allowed at this time.

How do I reschedule my appointment?

We require a 48-hour notice to reschedule your appointment to qualify for a transfer of your paid retainer. You may reschedule up to 30 days from the original appointment date if proper notice of 48 hours is provided. If you fail to provide proper notice for rescheduling, you forfeit your retainer and will be required to pay a new retainer for a new appointment date.

How do I cancel my appointment?

Cancel appointments 48 hrs or more to avoid any cancellation fees. Text 832-301- 8700 or email hello@mokabeaute.com to cancel your appointment. Appointments canceled 48 hrs or less will be charged 50% of the remaining balance for the service and will not be transferred to another date. Your retainer is nonrefundable, nontransferable. If you paid in full prior to your appointment and canceled 48 hrs or more before the appointment, you will receive the balance minus the nonrefundable retainer. If you paid in full and canceled less than 48 hrs, we will refund only 50% of the balance minus the nonrefundable retainer (for example, you paid in full $100 for the soft glam option and the non-refundable retainer is $35 and the balance is $65, we will refund you 50% of the $65 balance, which is $32.50).

What happens if I am late?

Please let the makeup artist know that you will not be on time for your appointment and possible ETA. Fee will apply if you are 10 or more minutes to your appointment. 10-14 minutes late: $20 will be applied to the balance. 15-20 minutes late: $30 will be applied to the balance. 20 minutes or more late: your appointment will be canceled. Our schedule is very tight and we wish to serve our clients on time. Your retainer is non-refundable & non-transferable. Clients running late and have not contacted the artist is considered a no show and the appointment will be canceled and the remaining balance will be charged in FULL.

What happens If I am a no-show?

If you are a no call/ no-show you will NOT receive any refund of the retainer and will be charged 100% of the remaining balance with the card on file. If you are 20 minutes or later to your appointment with no notice to the artist of the late arrival, you are considered a no show and will be charged 100% of the remaining balance and the appointment will be canceled. If the client card declines or the client refuses to pay the fee, they will be blocked from any future bookings with Moka Beaute Studio

Is the retainer refundable?

No the retainer is nonrefundable.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive with a clean face and if possible please have brows waxed/threaded prior to your appointment for expedited service.

Do you offer eyebrow/face waxing/threading?

At this time, we do not offer waxing or threading services.

I have sensitive skin, can I still book with you?

Yes, the makeup artist can assist you as long as you aren’t allergic to any known ingredients that may be in different cosmetic products. Moka Beaute Studio will not be held liable for any skin complications, injuries, losses, damages, claims, and actions.

I have a sore on my face, can you still do my makeup?

If you have any open wounds, sores, or any skin condition on the face and/or body before the day/time of your service, please inform the artist, immediately so she can access the issue. If you arrive at the appointment, with any skin condition that could possibly contaminate the integrity of the makeup product, tools, and/or professional kit, the makeup artist may refuse service and no refund of any kind will be issued.
